28th October 2007 Windsurfing: Brog Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 4-5 Surf / Sea State: 1' Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: cool Weather: Rain - cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: If you didn't sail this weekend, then you are not a real windsurfer / kiter. I mean - a whole month of nothing and then.......... BAM. Weymouth was b****x .... biking is fun as a fill-in but sailing is better.... I tried my new little board for the 1st time. Jumping is good ;turns, unbelievably good; wallowing in the lake lulls was a bit tedious. Otherwise fine. Chuffed. I need to get a smaller fin next. Lots of desperados out on Sunday, for most of us a bit of a system shock, what with cryogenics, tight wetsuits and rusty biceps. My day ended sadly :-( with a rapid exit to more pressing family business. |
